| EUNSC is a club devoted to hurling ourselves downhill in various states of disarray, preferably when the hill is covered in snow. We are interested in the whole spectrum of off-piste skiing, including alpine ski-mountaineering, nordic style hut to hut touring and mountain telemarking. |

We are a very small club, so we tend to meet for dinner in each other's houses, where we bring food to share and chat about skiing (and maybe other things as well). Anyone is welcome to join and come along, just email us and we'll let you know when the next meeting is (usually monday night). |
| Snowfall in Scotland is a fickle mistress, and going nordic skiing demands quite alot of flexibilty and last minute planning, but with enthusiasm it is quite possible to ski on many days throughout the winter. We have managed a quite few days of touring this year, a great trip to Firbush, (the uni outdoor centre on Loch Tay) to learn telemark skiing, 3 seperate trips involving club members to Norway to practise our telemarking, and some comedy practise with the rollerskis underneath Salisbury Crags (urban skiing!). |

We are a section of the Edinburgh Uni Mountaineering Club, who run loads of regular meets to snowy parts of Scotland during the winter, not to mention some brilliant socials! Joint membership costs 25 pounds, which gives you access to their buses and trips for the whole year or 10 pounds for access to their winter meets. You also get access to the kit in both club lockups, and it lets you go to Firbush...bargain! Most of the club members are keen mountaineers/general outdoor types and during the summer months we are frequently to be found in the hills somewhere. |
| If you want more information about the club, equipment available to hire or the types of skiing we do have a look at some of the links on the left hand side. |
